Date of Hair Transplant Procedure
- You must schedule your hair transplant session by following the booking steps provided by IFT Hair Science.
- Please arrive one day before your surgery for important pre-surgery medical checks to ensure you are fit for the procedure.
- Sometimes, surgery dates may change unexpectedly due to the health issues of the surgeon or other emergencies.
- The exact time of your surgery will be confirmed by the evening before your appointment.
Procedure Location
- Your hair transplant will be performed at the IFT Hair Science clinic in your location.
Pricing and Payment
- The cost depends on your chosen hair transplant package and the number of hair grafts needed.
- You must pay an advance deposit to confirm your surgery booking.
- The remaining amount must be paid on the day of your surgery.
- Our packages clearly state the services included and the involvement of the surgeon.
Complimentary (Free) Services
- Free PRP sessions (the exact number will be mentioned in your package).
- Pre-surgery counseling and answering any questions you have.
- Accomodation-service, meals, and lodging arrangements during your treatment.
- Free airport pick-up and drop-off services.
- Required Pre-surgery Health Checks
You must:
- Provide a blood pressure report.
- Complete and send reports for the following blood tests: Hb, Platelets, TLC, DLC, Prothrombin time (PT), HBsAg, Anti-HCV, HIV 1 & 2, RBS, HbA1c (Glycosylated Hemoglobin), and Covid-19 RT-PCR.
- Wear a shirt with buttons in front on your surgery day.
- Eat a heavy breakfast on surgery day (lunch provided around 2-3 pm).
- Inform us if you have any special food requirements or allergies.
Instructions Before Surgery
- Avoid alcohol for at least one week before surgery.
- Stop smoking at least one week before your procedure.
- Do not apply hair oil.
- Wash your hair regularly.
- Avoid aspirin or other painkillers that thin the blood for a week before surgery.
- Do not shave or trim your head or beard within one week of your surgery date.
Instructions After Surgery
- Do not touch or rub the area where hair grafts were placed.
- Be careful not to hit your head on objects like doors or walls.
- Sleep with your head raised to protect the grafts.
- Spray the transplanted area with saline solution every 3 hours for the first 72 hours after surgery.
- Gently wash the back of your head with Betadine scrub as instructed.
- You may wear a loose baseball cap or leave your head uncovered after surgery.
- You can return to your regular activities the day after surgery.
- Heavy exercise can begin 6-7 days after surgery.
- You can use your regular shampoo after 7 days (gentle shampoo )
